I think I can!!
Title:  I think I can!!
Description:  South Shore, in an effort to boost rider morale, put these stickers on the side of their cars in the late 70s. The railroad, at the time, was in disrepair, its cars over 50 years old, and much of its infrastructure in need of updating. Salvation would come in a few years with the NICTD, which today runs the South Shore with some funding from Indiana. In 1978, it was on a wing and a prayer-and a little optimism.
