For some reason I always wound up riding on rainy days. Either those were the only days I had available, or the rain just follows me around. The benefit was that it evened out the light when shooting places like Kearny from the DLW, which was normally a dark side photo. Here we see an ex LV "pup" SW 8 with another CR switcher. |

There will be a bunch of these. The Enola dead line abounded with all kinds of diesels in the mid 80s. I took several photos from points along US 11/15 hoping to capture some of the power that would soon be going to its final rest. Some nuits still wore their pre Conrail garb-note the ex EL GP 35 to the right rear. |
