SPV
Title:  SPV
Description:  The SPV 2000 was going to be the return of the RDC. Didnt quite work out so well, enough so that SPV turned out to mean "seldom powered vehicle." This one is owned by Connecticut DOT, and covered the New Haven-Springfield trips.

CDOT car
Title:  CDOT car
Description:  Connecticut DOT acquired a variety of rail equipment, which was painted variously for Metro North, Amtrak, and later New Haven, heritage units long before NS or UP had the idea. Despite the paint jobs, it ran where DOT needed it, and it was not uncommon to see an Amtrak painted car on a New Haven commuter train. Such is the case here, a CDOT car painted Amtrak working on the Danbury Branch.
