There was a line of parked power north of Huntsville in Springdale. All of the units in it had been moved there from the area around the office and shop. This is look at the south end of the line. Im assuming its a dead line since none of that power has been in service in a long time. |

The Belt Railway of Chicago had a half dozen of these C 424s, several of which wound up on the A&M as parts sources. Imagine my surprise when I rolled past the shop to find this unit, not only intact, but in good paint. Looks like its ready to head out from Clearing any mnment. |
