Title:  New CN power
Description:  A then new CN ES44 rolls 12T west at Tioga Center. By this time, the Canadian train had been resymbolled 30T bnd 31T, were rerouted onto the D&H from Binghamton. But 12T tended to get all kinds of foreign power, so even though CN units had been off the line for a couple of years on the regujar trains, they could occasionally show up here.

Description:  A southbound intermodal train comes off the NS Memphis District bridge over the Tennessee River at Decatur. I had to run to get this shot. I was a block away looking at the antebellum Burleson Home when I saw the train coming over the bridge. Fortunately, its speed restricted, since Im not that fast any more. I got a little chain link in the photo, too, but such are the hazards of modern railfanning. Nice to see I can still run.

Description:  I was driving east on US 60, and had followed this train since coming off Loop 335 in Amarillo. Id about get to the head end, then hit a town. Slow down to 40, lose ground, then catch up about the time Id have to slow down for another town. The speed limit was 70 for both trains and on the road, and these guys dont waste any time out here. This is a grab shot from US 60 near Pampa.
