Train 252 arrives at Binghamton behind a trio of CP units and one from SOO. The track going off at left is now a lead to switch Agway. It was once the DLW Syracuse and Utica Branch, which crossed the D&H here on a diamond. Now D&H trains use the connection to the DLW East Binghamton yard, via a pair of crossovers. |

Most photos of the bridge at Harpursville show he view from where the former Penn Division crossed NY 7. In the longer days of the year, late in the day a photo could be worked from the north side of the bridge, from a parking area on NY 235. Here we see such a view of train 413, which apparently got a late start-its nomally a morning departure out of Binghamton, with 104 cars. |
