Good diesel, good station |
Description: |
One of the better looking stations on the Tier was the Erie station at Silver Springs, which was used by the MOW department, and kept in pretty good shape. The diesel, though in battered paint, still looks good, as any Alco did in 1991. |

KL 1 with an Alco |
Description: |
Six axle MLWs were unusual on the Tier, but they did sometimes show up there. It was really unusual to find one running solo, such as this M630 with 35 K Line platforms at West Cameron. |

KL 1 |
Description: |
CP train KL 1, K Line stacks in charge of a single CP Alco, en route to Buffalo and a NS connection, passes the former Erie station at Silver Springs. The station was used at the time by MOW crews, hence its good appearance many years after the ELs demise. |

Big Alco |
Description: |
M 630 4563 rolls KL 1 solo approaching Gang Mills yard. after running around Corning on the relocated(1951) Erie main. Six axle Alcos were not common on the Tier, and a solo unit was really unusual. |
