Two of LIRRs G 5 4-6-0s were spared. The other was 39, now undergoing a long restoration project, and this one, 35, at Salisbury Park in East Meadow. Dad took us down to see it July 4th weekend, and got this shot of it. Looking pretty good for being out in the elements for the previous 15 years. |
