Trim engines |
Description: |
West end pullers at Enola this day were this pair of GP 10s. They were rebuilt with their 567s, and did tthey sound great working hard to pull the cuts from the yard tracks. |

Busy place |
Description: |
Enola could get wonderfully busy at times. Here we have SEEN7 coming in, waiting for the yard pullers to clear. |

Hump power turned loose |
Description: |
Conrail at that time used GP 10/SW 1500 sets to work the west end of the yard. A pair of them is seen here entering the yard after coming over from Harrisburg with a long cut of local cars to be sorted. These sets didnt get out much; typical transfer power was GP 10s or GP 8s, which were still around in some numbers. |
