Always maintenance |
Description: |
RAI 501, a rail train, rolls through CP 285 with gons of stick rail. The Chicago Line saw upwards of 50 moves a day, some days approaching 100, so keeping the physical plant up to date was a priority. |

Title: |
Somehow the maintenance gets done |
Description: |
RAI501, a rail train, somehow was able to get through the other trains and heads east. Sometimes Conrail ran close to 100 trains in 24 hours on this line. Maintenance was important, but hard to do with that kind of traffic. |
