Last of a series
Title:  Last of a series
Description:  Or close to it on any regular basis. In three weeks, Id be moving to Binghamton, and would not be camped out on the platform at Bellerose most Sundays, though I will be back to visit from time to time. Train 4012 will roll on, however, and todays is typical for the season: a pair of GP 38s with a cut of parlors head out, and about 14 cars for Montauk.

Montauk bound
Title:  Montauk bound
Description:  I found myself in New York for my cousins wedding. Naturally, it was a chance to go back to some old haunts to check out the action. One was Bellerose, where it appeared things had not changed much in the year since I moved upstate. A pair of GP 38s rolls a long train east. Today, though, instead of the usual MP 15 power pack, there is an FA on the rear.
