This spot several miles north of Stilwell on US 59 yielded a good view of the tracks, making this photo possible from roadside. In the seven years since I took this, the shrubbery has grown up near the tracks, and its not as good a location when the leaves are on tfe trees. |

The AEPX train I had been chasing met a northbound empty train here, that train having an untouched SP unit trailing ahead of its 124 cars. Ten plus years after the merger, they were becoming harder and harder to find. |
