H 10 at Devils Elbow
Description:
There was a stretch between Owego and Tioga Center where there was a rocky outcropping along the river. The road goes over the top of it, but the tracks run along the base, between the river and rocks. Local H 10 is about to enter that section at MP 239, and will return to the roadside running in about two miles. Were looking at the train just west of the NY 17C overpass as it rolls 33 cars west.
