On the bridge
Description:
The Triboro Bridge provided the platform for taking this photo of LISE, on the adjacent Hell Gate. The bridge is a long viaduct over Ward and Randalls Islands, with the famous steel arch crossing the channel where the East River meets the Harlem River. LISE is on the viaduct portion, and will shortly enter the Bronx. One good thing about slow traffic-sometimes you get the shot!!
