Northbound |
Description: |
The northbound train was going to have a better sun angle at Davidson Rd, so I went up there to shoot him, along with a big tree that was starting to leaf out. He has 95 empty grain hoppers slowly making their way toward Gentry |

Spring leaves |
Description: |
A northbound empty grain train approaches Davidson Rd with 95 empty hoppers, passing an oak that is still filling out, so far not enough to really obstruct the second unit. |

Gloomy day action |
Description: |
It had rained for over a week here, and the clouds were not inclined to break up. After about 8" of rain had fallen, we went out to see how things were doing regarding flooding, which was causing problems in places. We wound up in Watts, just as the southbound Q train was arriving. He stopped at the yard office, the power right behind on the main. Looks like a visitor from afar today, too. |
