Description:
Summer time was track work time, and the Tier was not exempt. This work extra rolls through West BD on its way east to another work site. On the left, we see the Vestal Spur, the remaining portion of the ex DLW still in service in the Binghamton area. At the time, there were still a few customers in Johnson City, as well as the NYSEG Goudy Station, and National Pipe & Plastic in Vestal. There is now(2015) nothing left on that line, and NS is looking to abandon it. Thats St Michaels Orthodox Church on the right with the gold dome.
