Amtraks station switcher, and ex Frisco GP 7, rolls back into the darkness of Union Station as the Cal Zephyr heads for everywhere west. One thing this Cal Zephyr has that the original did not is the Santa Fe hi level cars, seen here right below me. They were a real treat to ride in, and had some of the best leg room of any coach I've ever spent any time in. |
