557 and a semaphore
Title:  557 and a semaphore
Description:  The signal at MP 247 was fairly easy to get to-there was a maintenance road access right off NY 17C, all you had to know was where to turn, and have a long lens ready. It was one of a half dozen Erie semaphores still standing at that time. They would last into the 21st century. Here we see a 557 rolling west behind a typical mix of a GP9u and SD40.
