Album Info:For several years, NS ran 41T on the Tier. The train originated at Enola, ran the ex PRR and D&H to Binghamton, then west to Buffalo and Toronto. It usually had CN power, including IC and WC units. I was driving for Broome County Transit at the time, working split shifts, which left the middle of my days open. This was usually a good match for 41T, which tended to get out of Binghamton mid day, and made for a good chase. It became 31T in March 2004 or so, continuing to run the Tier, though later the routing would change to a CP-D&H move north of Binghamton, ending my Tier chases of the train. It was good while it lasted. We'll also see some shots of the train south of Binghamton on the line to Scranton.

Spring is almost here
Title:  Spring is almost here
Description:  But not quite. March can be a cruel month in upstate NY and nearby PA, with below freezing-and sometimes below zero-temps. Its not stopping 31T, which is rolling 70 cars to a crew change at Binghamton in this snowy scene.
