| The Heavener Sub has a roller coaster profile, hence DPUs are common. The obvious reason is to get the heavy trains over the uphill grades, but they are also important going down hill. This H train is now past Lake Frances Rd in Siloam Springs, and headed down to the Illinois River crossing just north of Watts. The dynamics will come in handy over the next three miles or so. |
