| I was coming back from running some errands, picking my way through town, about to cross the KCS at Kenwood St, when to my delight the gates started down. The day was gloomy-its been raining here for the last three days, and I didnt expect to shoot any train photos, but when presented with the chance, out comes the camera from under the seat. This is unusual for two reasons: first, the dodger typically runs with three units, occasionally, but not often, two. And its long hood forward, which you never see here. Anyway, a LHF GP 40 with six cars heads to Watts in the rain. Last time I saw this unit, in Gentry on the dodger, it was gray. |
