| A number of trucking companies have embraced intermodal, first the big guys, JB Hunt, which got involved in a big way in 1990, and now has almost 100,000 containers, as well as Schneider National, which also has many thousands. Later on, some others joined, among them Swift and Wal Mart, and even Amazon, which is making a big investment in COFC, judging by a recent trip to the Transconn in New Mexico.
