Im an east coast guy. I have a pretty good idea of the history of most of the eastern systems, and their equipment. The west?? Not much. I recall when BART was opened, almost 50 years ago, and the slant nose cars that ran there. I cant imagine these are the same cars, despite the tendency of rapid transit cars to run seemingly forever. In any case, these look pretty good. |
