A single MP 15 rolls east through Hicksville station with a handful of cars. RF 65 has just passed through in the opposite direction, so this train is not the return of RF 65 to the south shore. LIRR freight operations could be confusing at times. This is one of them!! MP 15's were the common power for the outlying locals at the time. The RS 3's were gone about three years at this point, and the remaining C 420's were on the "road" trains from Yard A to the east end, and sometimes still held down a commuter run.
