This is a view of a #7 train arriving at 40th/Lowery St on the IRT Flushing Line, on the concrete viaduct above Queens Blvd in Sunnyside. The cars were delivered in 1963, replacing Low-Vs just ahead of the 1964/65 Worlds Fair in Flushing Meadow. They would serve on this line for 40 years. |
