Wisconsin Central leads the way  Contributor's Pick!
12T and 13T were the two trains that tended to get the unusual power. 40T and 41T commonly got CN power, and sometimes IC, rarely GT power, though on a couple of occasions a DWP unit showed, but it was generally all in the CN family. But the Allentown trains could be a treat, getting anything from a run of the mill set of wide cab GEs to ex Santa Fe warbonnets and UP flags, which were still something of a big deal then. Todays 12T is a winner, a pair of WC SD 45s leading an ex MPI lease unit now part of the Helm fleet, and an NS 4 motor, in bright sun with a deep mantle of snow. We see the train approaching the 45 MPH curve at MP 220, as it makes its way toward Owego.
