Cambria & Indiana  Contributor's Pick!       
There were some old short line and predecessor subsidiary lines that CR inherited when it took on the assets of the big roads. One such was the Cambria & Indiana, a coal mining line in western PA. It was more common to see these cars in that area, though sometimes one would escape. I got lucky, seeing this on northbound to Ludlowville on the Ithaca Branch. These cars were already old, and did not have much service life left.
