Holding the main |
Description: |
There is a southbound grain train holding the main as the H train takes the siding. It will work here, making both a set off and a pick up. Todays H train is 147 cars, and it will block the south end for quite a while, making a long wait for the guys on the grain train. The grainer has one of the few Belle painted AC44's leading. |

Sheer dumb luck |
Description: |
I was on my way to a doctors appointment this morning, when I saw this train hit the crossing at Lincoln Av as I was turning onto the access to US 412. I pulled up on the bridge, and 15 seconds later, was rewarded with this scene, a southbound grain train behind a Belle and a UP unit. Some days, youre just in the right place. |
